NURSERY MANAGER
Emma Thompson
Emma qualified in childcare in 1996. She has a degree in Early Years Childhood and holds the Early Years Professional (EYPS) qualification.
Emma has been manager of Nightingales Nursery since 2002. Although not based in a specific room Emma remains very hands on with the children and enjoys helping out within the rooms, one of her favourite activities with the children is story time and she likes to find engaging stories to tell with the children.
DEPUTY MANAGER
Rebecca Hughes
Rebecca (Becky) qualified in childcare in 1996 and has been at Nightingales since 2001. Becky is based in the pre-school room and works with the children there getting them ready for their transition to ‘big school’. Becky has a passion for art, a love of books and enjoys developing the pre-schools skills.
NURSERY PRACTITIONER
Anthonia Famutimi
Anthonia qualified in childcare in 2001 and has been at Nightingales since 2009. Anthonia started off in the baby room but has now transitioned to the toddler room. Anthonia now enjoys more creative activities with the toddlers.

DEIRDRE BROADHURST
Deirdre qualified in childcare in 2001 and joined the Nightingales team, in February 2022 . Deirdre has over 20 experience working in childcare.
Deirdre is based in the baby room and enjoys being busy with the babies

Mia Lloyd
Mia Lloyd, qualified in Childcare in 2015 and joined the Nightingales team in 2021. Mia is based in the toddler room and enjoys working with the toddlers and watching them grow and develop. Mia enjoys outside play

Elena StMarthe
Elena qualified in Childcare in 1994 and joined the Nightingales team in 2023. Elena is based in the baby room. Elena enjoys doing creative activities with the babies
NURSERY COOK
Tom Williams
Tom is the newest member of the Nightingales Team, he is enjoying the challenge of preparing food for the little people. The children are all loving his cooking. Tom is also developing the nursery garden to grow home grown produce for the nursery food.
